Ukraine fights against the enemy

I hope those assholes keep bringing their ships to Snake Island.

Glory to Ukraine to the heroes of glory I have not touched the game since the beginning of the war as a sign of complicity to our Ukrainian brothers and I will not play it until the end of the war in favor of Ukraine.

Me I don't mind. History is history.  When I was young none of my friends wanted to play the Indians they all wanted to be the cowboys. Me I was happy to play the Apache, Sioux or Commanche. Even though I am fiercely and viscerally anti communist I don't mind playing Red Army missions or use Soviet tanks. I don't conflate objects or people with party or political ideology. When I play I am dispassionate. As Lockie keeps or rather kept telling me 'it's a game. I am German by blood but it's Ok to play on the Soviet side and kill German infantry and destroy German tanks. re you reluctant to play German missions in SF fighting US or Brits and killing their troops? I am sure for many Ukrainians playing the Soviet side  in Steel Fury was not necessarily their preferred option nor playing the German one either. Playing means the suspension of belief and putting aside reality to indulge in fantasy or alternate history/reality.

He may have been dazed, stunned or shell-shocked by the impact and could not react defensively. He looks disoriented. Mind you these RuSSian mujiks are always half drunk. He may have been stone-drunk and unable to get his bearings and with the explosion he probably lost the little wherewithals he had left. He managed to dodge death once but the when the entire tank blew up he went straight down to join Komrades Stalin and Beria being roasted for all eternity.

My point was that the ruzzian side in that proposed game would be no fun to play, if history was followed. Disjointed, poorly led, low morale, poorly supplied, inexperienced conscripts. It would not be much of a game to play either side.

Maybe.  He sure didn't have the wherewithal that the Panther crew men did at the famous Cologne cathedral confrontation or this US tank commander, at 8:50, that rolls off the tank while missing part of his lower leg.
