Actually I think Prigozhin is ht emore realist of the two.Unlike Putin he saw what his men endured in battle and saw the incompetence of the Russian military and he decided he had had enough. Putin is surrounded by sycophants who lie to him and tell him everything is well in Ukraine. They are scared to tell him the truth. But Putin knows indeed an attack on Polansd wpould mean war with NATO whereas Hitler throught he could defeat Poland befre France and Britain had the time to take him on. He calculated correctly but then it went to his head and he gambled too muhc taking on the USSR and the US.

It doesn't matter. Logic isn't an argument for ruSSian dickhead.

Prigohzin cares nothing for his men other than what they can do for him. The cynical use of 20,000 prisoners as cannon fodder shows that. He also sacrificed many of his experienced mercenaries to capture Bahkmut as a vanity project. He favors a more vigorous prosecution of the war with even more violence. That is far from realism.

Prigozhin is himself a former convict who was offered his freedom in exchange for working as a contract mercenary. That's based on hsi personal experience that he decided to offer convicts in Russian jails to escape the horrible conditions and earn money and their freedom. Russia has a long tradition of drafting convicts since Tsarist and Soviet times. Russian cynicism and waste of human lives is well anchored in their history. But comparde to Putin Prigzhin calls it as it is. He said the Ukrainaina s fight better thna Russians and that Russia will probably lose the war in gthat sense he is a realist he knows reality and when he ses it:

I had to laugh at that RuSSian vid. if it's the best they can do they are going to lose the war on the interrnet as well as on the battlefield. But I have to give it to them they had the Bundeswehr uniforms perfectly correct.

If NATO countries prevented Russian ships from exiting the Baltics at the same time Ukraine is blockading the Russians in the sea of Azov and the Blakc Sea then Russia c would be forced to ship all their goods by train on the Transiberian almost 10 000 kilometres to Vladivostok or Murmansk which is frozen half the year and doe snot have a great capacity. I think the Ukrainina blockade is a very smart move. Paralyze Russia's economy so the people can feel the effects of their country's agression on their lives.

Can NATO legally block ruzzian shipping in the Baltic short of war?
I'm talking international law.
Maybe little green sailors in little green ships could do it with plausible deniability.
