Finally, USSR was took out from Europe and doomed. Now russians try to "liberate" the Ukraine from "fascist".

It is a very Russian style: to provoke and then escalate the conflict.
Russian coast guard vessel rammed Ukrainian tugboats, which was traveling with two Ukrainian navy artillery boats from Odessa on the Black Sea to Mariupol in the Sea of Azov, via the Kerch Strait.
All three Ukrainian boats were captured by russian aggressors.

Another blatant "Putin act" of "Creeping Annexation" to cover up his own failures at home. While stealing and stuffing his own & his good buddies pockets with the country's wealth.

If Ukraine was in NATO this could not happen

Today 5 years since event on Maidan had place when active Ukrainian citizens had been shot.

On April 24, 2019 the president of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has signed an order on issuing Russian citizenship to the residents of the so called Luhansk Republic and Donetsk Republic, which in fact are the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
This move is a signal to the whole world, that Putin is not prepared to tame his imperialistic ambitions. It also proves that any other country’s sovereignty could be challenged by Kremlin at any time. Moreover, this proves that Russia is the aggressor towards Ukraine and is actively pursuing the idea of occupying more of Ukraine’s territory.
Tomorrow UN Security Council holds extraordinary meeting on this situation. We invite you to support Independence of Ukraine and stop Russian aggression. You can write supporting Ukraine message here

One Ukrainian killed, three injured, two shell-shocked following enemy attack in Luhansk region - Gen. Staff
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak has said that one Ukrainian serviceman was killed, three were injured and another two were shell-shocked as a result of the enemy attack on the positions of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) in Donbas on Tuesday morning.
As reported by Censor.NET.
"As a result of the collision, unfortunately, one serviceman killed, three injured and two shell-shocked. Wounded and shell-shocked now are at the treatment establishments, they are provided with the medical aid," Khomchak said at a briefing following the meeting in Kyiv on Tuesday.
General Staff Chief said that the Russia-led armed groups since 1000 asked for 'silence', now the Joint Center for Coordination and Control is working on the site for the Ukrainian party to take the body of its serviceman, and the armed groups do the same.
"The casualties of the enemy are confirmed: four persons killed, six – injured. Now the situation is stable, the shooting has stopped. The situation is under control and all units are conducting their activities according to decisions taken earlier," Khomchak said.

Ukraine is under attack.
In the wake of Ukraine's 2013-2014 Revolution of Dignity (aka Euromaydan), Russia illegally seized and occupied Crimea and started an armed conflict in eastern Ukraine.  Five years on, Russia continues to arm, train, lead, and fight alongside the anti-government forces in eastern Ukraine, while falsely insisting it is not a party to the conflict.  The fighting has resulted in approximately 13,000 deaths, caused the internal displacement of 1.5 million people, and forced more than 3.5 million more to require assistance and protection in a largely forgotten humanitarian catastrophe.  Critical civilian infrastructure continues to be damaged or disrupted, exacerbating humanitarian needs.  Russia continues to stall diplomatically as the situation deteriorates.

Russia is directly responsible for pain and suffering in Ukraine.​
U.S. and EU efforts to deter further aggression include applying restrictive measures.  EU sanctions must be renewed periodically and are negotiated throughout the year.
