Re: running ww2 tanks
Are all these AFVs actually in Australia or have they been shipped there at great expense? Either way, you are very lucky to have seen them. Great post.

running ww2 tanks more pics
Hi Fitzy
These are all shipped to Australia. The gentleman who owns the Museum is a successful businessman who is passionate about WW2 and cold war armour. In particular WW2 German tanks are his real love. They are re building a Tiger (a real battle damaged one not a replica)and a Stug 3 at the moment. His collection of Soviet German and Allied WW2 tanks as well as the cold war armour is excellent. Hope I am not boring you but these are some more pics from that day.
Regards Paul

Re: running ww2 tanks
Hi Paul,
Thanks for the extra pictures. Very interesting. Amazing how many he has up and running. I take it the displayed Tiger I is some sort of fake model?

Re: running ww2 tanks
Hi Fitzy
It was used in movies and I can't remember if it was saving private Ryan or something else. I don't think it was Fury. One of the sets from Fury is on display there. What's even better is the rebuild of a real Tiger which is in progress.
Regards Paul
