Я навіть не уявляю, як вони примудрялись забезпечувати свою техніку всіма необхідними стрельнями! Там же стіко різних калібрів було. The language in that forum is Norwegian and the tank is a French Somua S35 =)
The M4 was a medium tank designed for the Allies in World War II. It was not the best or the most modern, but it was a reliable and effective, capable of being produced in large volumes with the technology installed in the US for the civilian market vehicle. The British received large amounts for the European front, many of which were modified with native cannon and "Firefly" is called.
Sherman Argentines were purchased (per kg) to Britain after the war ended, a number that is estimated at more than 400 units. There were several different models, both with 75 mm cannon and English of 17 pounds, and several engines. They formed the backbone of Argentina's armored forces for several decades, unparalleled in the region.
In the last years of his life, and although it was scheduled to deprogramming and replacement by TAM, the conflict with Chile of 78 forced a local modernization of the surviving specimens with 105 mm cannon, new engine and other minor changes; are those called "Sherman repowering" that continued to operate during the eighties.
It retains at least one operating copy in the Reg 8 Magdalena. It reserves it to operate the mine roller, after the many problems brought to adapt the system to the TAM family.
