The problem with that kind of bar is that it prevents Russians who are against the war of agression and against Putin from leaving their country. Every skilled, educated Russian who leaves his country is one who won't fight for the RuSSian army and support Putin's regime and weaken Russia..

Well maybe it should be a tourist ban to keep the fence sitting tourists in the pressure cooker and allow through the immigrants that have an education and skills and can prove they want to permanently leave Mordor. Or maybe the tourists should be made to sit through a day of coverage about the effects of the war their government is waging before they are allowed in to the EU.

Tanker I think you should not be so harshly judgemental of ordinary Russians who don't necessarily support the war but are not ready to risk losing their jobs, their freedom, risk being bullied or publicly ostracized . Not everybody is made to be a hero . How many Americans oposed the entry of the US in WW2 even through evidence of Nazi persecution and brutalities were for all to see? Only the Pearl Harbour sneak attack and Germany's own declaration of war pushed the US to intervene. People who openly oppose brutal dictatorships or defy authoritarian rulers are always a minority in every country. How about the hundreds of millions Chinese who openly or tacitly support the CCP and its persecution of minorities an dissenters and its brutal repressive tactics and openly aggressive foreign policy?  I think letting people free travel and showing the leaders of Russia how many of their citizens are voting with their feet is a good move. The same forced the East German distatorshio to build the Berlin wall discrediting the regime and making mockery of its claim of offering freedom from the capitalist exploitation and oppression of West Germany .Once it collapsed, the GDR collapsed as wel, in a matter fo weeks. Allowing Russians to leave esepcially the young ones sends a message to Russians and others that Putin's war is not popular and deprives Russia of potential army recruits. It means less people Putin can force to fight against the Ukrainians. Sometimes passive resistance is the best solution.

There are no any ruSSian orkas without guilty. They voted for their fuhrer "huylo" and assaulted my country. All of them must be de-nazified and de-militarized. Evil empire must be separated!

Ukrainians are celebrating the attack on the Crimean Bridge today and posing for photos outside Kyiv City Hall next to a giant mock-up of a postage stamp depicting the destruction of the bridge  

I think the RuSSians should listen to common sense and just surrender. The Ukrainians are professional and humane and will not harm or kill or torture prisoners unlike what the RuSSians have been doing.  My only worry is that Putin has nuclear weapons which he may try to use to avoid total defeat.

The Ukrainians like the Finns 82 years ago showed what a determined nation can do when attacked by a much larger and powerful neighbour. Had the Finns been more numerous in 1939-40 the Soviet Union would never have won the winter war.

Well done Ukraine adn we can only hope that Graviteam will ame simulators or game recreating Ukraine's victory at the Fourth Battle of Kharkiv, the liberation of Ukrainian territory etc....


But Let's think about the price the Ukrainian people are paying....
