Ukraine fights against the enemy

Russian occupants bypassed position of Ukrainian troops from both flanks and from the rear, then they mined the road, intending to cut off Ukrainian positions from withdraw. Then they started throwing grenades in the trenches with Ukraine soldiers. However, reinforcement forces of Ukrainian troops, deactivated and bypassed mining, then advanced and joined to the battle, which lasted till noon.
As a result of fighting the terrorists retreated, taking with their about 30 killed and wounded and 12 bodies were left lying in the field. Several terrorists were captured, but most of them died of thjeir wounds in hospital. One mercenary was taken alive.

One Ukrainian military was killed in the anti-terrorist operation area yesterday, Dec. 11.
This was announced by Presidential Administration representative on ATO matters, Colonel Oleksandr Motuzianyk at a briefing on Saturday, Censor.NET reports.
"Yesterday, one Ukrainian soldier was killed in combat activities and two received injuries," Motuzianyk said.

With the price of oil at rock bottom and the sanctions the Russian economy is being bled dry and facing bankruptcy. Russians are selling at a loss the prime real estate they had purchased in West in order to be able to pay their bills stay afloat. Well Woofie it's difficult to maintain a first rate military force without money. Even Putin has to face real life. Plus the oligarchs who have been supporting him up till now are probably suffering a lot and seeing their assets melt like butter. If they withhold their support he will lose his grip on power.

Putin has all of the backing he needs to have total control of power over the country. He holds the reins of control over economics, political policies and most important the military. Nothing in the country is done without his check mark next to it.

He will be in power as long as he "dictates".

No, he'll be in power as long as the oligarchs support him. He's one man that furiously balancing on a tight rope or holding a tiger by the tail. Once those who support him calculate that his usefulness is done they'll throw him under a bus. Russians like their Czars and they like to be dictated to but even so Putin has to keep the people relatively mollified also. That's why he keeps creating external boogy men to divert their attention.

"The battle near Zaitseve in the Donetsk region lasted all night long. This hot section of the front is situated in the "neutral" zone, which is held by a separate motorized infantry brigade, has been mentioned in each daily situation report of the ATO staff over a month.

"One of the brigade battalions engaged in combat, which started in the evening and lasted almost until morning. The enemy infantry, covered by machine guns and grenade launchers, set out on an offensive. The valiant and daring Ukrainian troops managed to force the separatists back from the height, which they were advancing from.

"Enemy weapons were found at the position abandoned by the Russian mercenaries, which they used to launch attacks against the Ukrainian troops. Anti-tank guided missiles designed to destroy tanks and armored vehicles and their less powerful counterpart Shmel rocket launcher produced in 2000 were found. There is evidence that these arms were produced in Russia, as they have the relevant marking and are in service with the Russian army," the statement reads.

Lockie - I heard on news today that Putin's folly in the Ukraine is costing their weak economy millions per day - some question how long he can continue. From the looks of those invaders - someone else resorted to filling ranks with youth.

Don't trust Turkey ,.Certainly not with that Islamist, terrorist-lover  Erdogan in power. He just wants to re-create the Ottoman empire and a big Sunni revival in the region. Stick with your Slavic brothers who distrust Russia like the Poles, Czechs, Slovaks, the Lithuanians and also the Baltic states . Keep anything from the Middle East away from you they are poison.

Once this conflict is over Russia will have been set 20 years back economically. The Ukraine too but at least you will have the financial support of the West to rebuild.
