MMM OK but this is a major gamble. Ukraine cannot afford to many losses at a time the RuSSians are pushing forward in the east . Plus what are they going o do with the Kursk Nuclear power plant? Blow it up? It would be a catastrophe that would also affect Ukraine. Much better would be to strike RuSSian defensive positions from the rear and force them to give up their offensive in the Donets area.

It looks a bit too much like the German Konrad offensive operations which only led to depleting Germany's last resverves of men and material.

Easy deal.
First - cut off ruZZian orcs from energy.
Second - send energy towards Ukraine.
Third - ruZZian orcs got used to see the war via their TV set, now they can see the war through their windows!

Nazi German was alone and had occupant status. Ukraine is not alone, almost all the world at our side and we've the status defenders. More over, we've to attack. We can't sitting in defence and retreating all the time.

Lockie my friend I was not comparing NS Germany with Ukraine, simply the idea of Hitler throwing Germany's last reserves on a gamble whereas these reserves could have been better used to fight off the Soviet offensive against Berlin in April 1945 especially at Seelow Heights. Ukraine could probably better use these resources for defensive purposes to fight off the Russians in the Donets . The Russians despite their huge losses are constantly advancing .

Yes when it comes to doing the fighting Ukraine is alone NATO is helping with supplies but the Ukrainains and volunteers are alone doing the bleeding.

To reroute energy from the Kursk PP it would take enormous investments and time it's not magical you need to build electric lines and pylons from there to Ukraine.

I just hope this offensive will be not be a Pyhrric victory.

So true.  The "red line" fear has been shown to be baseless so many times.

I fully agree with you Tanker! Why tie Ukraine's hands when they are facing a war of annihilation? Did the Allies submit similar requests to the Soviets during WW2 when providing Lend Lease aid?

I've got the conclusion that the one and the last argument to get the peace it's a nuclear weapon. So, any country must have it! That was a a very stupid thing when Ukraine signed Budapest agreement and lost all nuclear weapons and strategics bombers. Any other countries - look at Ukraine and make up your mind - do u want "peaceful agreement" or nuclear weapon?
