Re: Panzerlied (Battle of the Bulge)
Nice and stirring but fictitious. At that time of the war the men of the Panzerwaffe were more likely to sing " Ich hatte einen Kameraden!"

It is the same name as in video. He we're: Battle of the Bulge

It is a good movie, but as Frinik said it had to much fictitious. I.e. all German tanks in fact are American, which were painted with a Kreuz.

Re: Panzerlied (Battle of the Bulge)
NO it's not a good film at all I disagree. It's a silly Hollywood rendition of a real battle. The film was shot in Spain and even tough it's supposed to be December in the cold Ardennes mountains there's no snow on the ground and all throughout the Germans have a silly clock designed to show that they were on a tight timetable to reach their objectives or face defeat. Robert Shaw plays the sterotyped role of war-crazy Waffen SS officer( presumably Jochen Pieper) while naturally Henry Fonda is the intuitive American intel officer who discovers that the Germans are short on fuel( duhhhhh !Like the Americans did not know that in real life and it was a secret to discover!!!The film is laughable, full of clichés, stereotypes and is about as close to the real events as Monty Python's film the Holy Grail is to King Arthur's life....
