Re: WWII Tanks: Battlefield
Looks like a more modern rendition of arcade tank shooters I tried over a decade ago Tank Combat and Panzer Elite Action. Mind you at $3.00 I don't think you'll be crying but you are going to play this for 3 hours and then forget about it. that thing was probably made with mobile devices in mind, phones and tablets.

Re: WWII Tanks: Battlefield
In Canada a pack is currently almost US$ 10.00 ( 25 cigarettes)... So it would buy you just 8 of them

The thing though is that smoking enemy tanks is healthier than smoking cigarettes

Re: WWII Tanks: Battlefield
Unfortunately it looks underwhelming ; graphics, physics, realistic gunsights etc....Looks very arcade.
That one has me excited and interested. Soon to be released both single player and MP.

That looks like an interesting sim. The videos are all from 3 years ago when it was in alpha. Is this game out of beta yet?

Re: WWII Tanks: Battlefield
Yes according to what it says on the home page the game will be released this fall. Keep in mind that this is a one-man show. The creator, Beral, is a Spaniard, is working on his own time,. He is relying on Patreon contributors to pay for his expenses and he is committed to this. Check his home page you 'll have all the details.

Re: WWII Tanks: Battlefield
I found the FAQ section there.
It mentions paying extra for eventually getting KV tanks and something called Dicker Max. I wonder if the game will have micro transactions and charges for additional models beyond T-34 and PzIV?

Re: WWII Tanks: Battlefield
It's a one-man outfit I sincerely doubt he could pull microtransactions. He's got Patreon contributors so I doubt it. But it may follow the Tank Crew model where you get base models free and some free maps and then you have to pay for additional models and maps as they are released. If you buy it in early release it's only 29,99 Euros of roughly US $ 25.00 and you egt 15 free vehicles which is not bad.Much better than Tank crew which cost double and included only 8 free vehicles.

Re: WWII Tanks: Battlefield
Perhaps it stands for BOw Gunner?
He would man the bow machine gun, among other duties.
It is a strange acronym however.
