Ukraine has conclusive evidence that Russia supports terrorists with weapons, equipment, and money.
Ukraine has begun the process of filing a lawsuit in the International Court of Justice of the United Nations concerning the violation by Russia of an international convention on the prohibition of the terrorism financing and for the support of the terrorists in the east of the country. Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko stated this in an interview for channel 5, Censor.NET reports citing lb.ua.
"The litigation, which is now being prepared, is a question about the events in the east of the country. We have indisputable proof of Russian support of the terrorists with weapons, equipment, money and mercenaries. Ukraine has begun the process of filing the case to the International Court of Justice against Russia concerning the violation of international Convention on the prohibition of the financing of terrorism. This is a very serious international act, which carry severe sanctions, " Petrenko said.
According to him, corresponding note was sent to Russia.
Petrenko also noted that pretrial procedure lasts about 7 months.
The assessment of the damage inflicted to the Ukrainian companies by the Russian occupation of the Crimea is completed and the materials have been submitted to the European Court of Human Rights, he said in addition.
